Job Description


An exciting opportunity hiring for a Senior Manager to join a dynamic and high performing Investment department to support the growth of a listed real estate fund.

Working closely with CEO and senior management to source, manage and execute asset acquisition and investment opportunities, this role involves working closely with the various functional heads to identify investment opportunities across selected markets and sectors within Asia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake full life-cycle investment transactions that will include origination, deal analysis, deal diligence, underwriting, deal structuring and execution to successful completion and handover to asset management.
  • Manage the entire transaction management activities including past and projected investment performance, counter parties evaluation (such as seller, etc), funding structures, investment merits and risks, expected returns and sector dynamics as well as review transaction documentation and closing activities
  • Build and operate complex and dynamic financial models to analyse investment opportunities including but not limited to reviewing investment / tax structures, underwriting parameters and specific assets using financial models and a variety of quantitative analytical tools to test assumptions and sensitivities
  • Produce detailed deal specific investment memoranda for transaction recommendations to top management or relevant stakeholders.
  • Track and compile a database of industry, market and asset level data and financial information
  • Drive the growth of the real estate portfolio by building industry relationships
  • Build and develop close internal relationships with the ground teams to closely track opportunities and recommend courses of action
Job Requirements:

You will be an experienced Investment Manager with 10 years\' of relevant working experience in Real Estate industry with a key focus in M&A. Proven track record in executing transactions, including M&A, acquisitions, divestments, restructuring, or other relevant corporate actions, across multiple/international geographies, and highly proficient in building and operating complex financial models. Strong communicator in writing and presenting comprehensive and compelling investment ideas to investment committee, with ability to communicate in both written and spoken English and Chinese languages as role may require to deal with counterparts in China. Excellent leadership skills, strong initiative, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
