Job Description

:You will be responsible for overseeing the Gardens\' operational requirements, for both the indoor and outdoor gardens\' engineering and facilities, which includes the management of individual operational systems within the Gardens and Prototype Glasshouses at Hort Park. You will be expected to oversee the daily operations of managing agents and contractors in accordance to contract requirements and schedules, as well as liaise with other departments on the gardens\' engineering and facility matters. You will also administer project contract management to optimize project/maintenance costs and ensure operationally viable solutions and maintenance of proper record for the facilities. You will plan for regular maintenance of facilities and equipment to ensure proper working condition.Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 3 - 5 years of relevant facilities management and project management experience in construction works and / or engineering consultancy, preferably in large retail / commercial, life-style complexes or similar attraction industry
• Candidates with in-depth experience in air conditioning systems is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of ACMV, BMS and associated ancillary systems, irrigation and fogging system, shading control system, and other M&E systems
• Creative, innovative, and resourceful in implementing cutting edge engineering technologies
• Good problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
