What the role is:The Corporate Services Division provides strategic financial, procurement, human resource, organisational development and administrative support to NYC. As part of the Corporate Services Division, the Finance & Procurement department ensures NYC\'s financial resources are optimally allocated and utilised, while promoting good corporate governance practices and accountability. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be at the heart of our financial activities, supporting daily and year-end closing operations, providing financial advice, leading resource management, corporate budgeting and planning.What you will be working on:At the centre of Finance operations, you will ensure financial operations are executed effectively by implementing and applying accounting treatments, financial processes and systems that facilitate accurate recording of financial transactions. With your operations insights, you will craft finance and budgeting policies in promoting transparency, accountability, compliance and adherence to the Government Instruction Manual. You will also get to shape the future of Finance department, leveraging on automation and digitalisation to apply predictive data analytics in aiding management decision-making.What we are looking for:

• Relevant experience in corporate finance, budgeting and resource planning and preferably at least two (2) years of relevant working experience in Public Sector; supervisory experience preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Be numerically inclined, possess strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Resourceful, forward looking, pro-active, possess the ability to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities, dedicated and committed to results. \xe2\x80\xa2 An independent, proactive and resourceful team player who can adapt well and thrive in a dynamic environment \xe2\x80\xa2 Good understanding of Government fiscal policies, processes and systems, including experience in robotic process automation, analytical tools, transformation, digitisation and change management projects \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in data analysis and familiarity with data visualisation tools like PowerBi; other data analysis/ processing tools like Python and Uipath will be a plus.
