What the role is:As Senior Manager / Manager (Operations) of the Communicable Diseases Agency set up by the Ministry of Health (MOH), you will support Lead Operations in the development and management of the operational functions of the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA). The CDA is a new government agency that is being established by the Ministry of Health (MOH) to oversee Singapore\'s communicable disease preparedness, prevention and control, surveillance, risk assessment and outbreak response. The CDA PO\'s role is to plan and execute the setup of the CDA, which will consolidate and build on the public health functions under MOH, the National Centre for Infectious Diseases, and the Health Promotion Board. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that will require you to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities concurrently.What you will be working on:You will play a key role in the Operations team in CDA. Your key responsibilities include the following: Job responsibilities Ops Planning and Resources: o Develop and coordinate operational drawer plans with internal and external stakeholders, as part of surge and activation management under CDA. o Develop strategic operational resources and budgetary considerations, as well as ensuring that logistical planning is carefully considered with respect to operational plans. Ops Capability Development and Readiness: o Develop CDA capabilities plans (resources, system, training, personnel, and equipping) in response to crisis and business continuity requirements. o Develop and ensure the overall operational readiness of resource, personnel and activities during an outbreak/ crisis response. Ops Response and Monitoring: o Develop, operationalise and review CDA incident management and reporting framework. o Develop, operationalise and review plans on the mobilisation of resources for ops response to support CDA operations. Administration: o Provide secretariat support for meetings. o Assist in the administration and monitoring of budgetary votes for Operations Division. On rotation for 24/7 duty for phone calls for urgent disease/ incident notifications and managementWhat we are looking for:Job Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Tertiary qualifications in any discipline. \xe2\x80\xa2 2-3 years\' experience in Public Health / Operations / Civil Service would be an advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborative and team-oriented mindset. \xe2\x80\xa2 Effective stakeholder management, good communication and interpersonal skills to co-create solutions. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including grasp of data analysis techniques. \xe2\x80\xa2 Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. \xe2\x80\xa2 Independent and self-driven with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and perform under pressure and tight timelines. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, Power BI or Tableau will be an added advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Willing to work beyond office hours, including weekends and public holidays, if necessary.
