Job Description


What the role is:You are part of the hospitality team at the National Museum and its sister museums Changi Chapel and Museum, and Reflections at Bukit Chandu, that ensures our visitors enjoy their time at the museums and leave with a positive and lasting impression. You are data-driven yet in touch with consumer behaviour and have a flair for pricing and designing ticket promotions to drive both Singaporean/resident and tourist admissions for the museums. You will handle admission pricing, manage and work with both locally- and overseas-based online travel agents (OTAs) or avenues, work closely with the front-of-house teams to set up ticketing and revenue collection processes, and also provide visitor profile and admission reports and analytics. You are a team player who has a keen interest in the museum and heritage sector and would like to contribute to this vibrant and growing industry.What you will be working on:

  • Drive museum admissions through ticket pricing and promotions across various ticketing channels, including the museums\' digital channels and external online ticketing platforms, as well as identifying other suitable ticket sale platforms or opportunities
  • Manage both locally- and overseas-based OTA contracts and relationships
  • Work closely with front of house operations team to set up and maintain admissions ticketing operations, ensuring smooth ticket transactions and visitor access into our galleries and events
  • Monitor and provide regular reports and analytics on visitor numbers and patterns to the museums and various galleries/exhibitions
  • Analyse and project visitor footfall and admissions revenue data to help museum understand visitor patterns and preferences, and recommend how to further drive admissions
  • Other projects and duties under the museum\'s Visitor Experience team as assigned
What we are looking for:
  • Preferably at least 5 years of relevant working experience in marketing, business development and/or pricing in the hospitality, attractions and/or MICE sectors
  • Highly independent and resourceful
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and development skills
  • Self-motivated, results orientated and full of drive
  • Able to work irregular hours when required
