Reporting to the Assistant Director (AD), Strategic Planning and Management, the incumbent functions essentially is the custodian for the Management Information and Business Analytics needs of SingHealth Community Hospitals (SCH) and the various Community Hospitals under SCH. He/ She is expected to govern and manage data and information obtained from the IT systems across all relevant operating units, ensuring that regulations, i.e. PDPA, are not violated and that there is consistency in the application of data standards and definition during data mining and analysis.
The incumbent is expected to assist the AD, Strategic Planning and Management in managing the information and reports submitted to and/or received from MOH and SingHealth, and all other governing bodies, e.g. Statutory Boards. He/She will lead the PPM unit in providing management information and business analytics support to Senior Management for strategic planning and management decisions. As the main provider of data and information, the incumbent, in partnership with iHIS/ ITD, will lead in the continued development and enhancement of management information tools, which should be aligned with the future IT planning of MOHH-iHIS.
On the ground, PPM executives under the guidance of the incumbent, will provide user-expertise support to the various service units within Corporate Office and the Community Hospitals for advanced analytics, i.e in the areas of Geospatial Analytics and Predictive Analytics. He/ She will also support the enterprise wide development of management information across business and clinical units.
Alongside the above, He/ She will support annual strategic planning activities under the guidance of the AD, Strategic Planning and Management of the SCH. These include but not limited to engaging various internal and external stakeholders in strategic discussions, consolidating and synthesize inputs, facilitating and supporting leadership discussion on strategic plan, and preparing necessary materials in support of the activities, and submission of annual work plan.
The incumbent is also to oversee Bright Vision Hospital (BVH) Board matters and management, working closely with the SCH leadership and SingHealth Legal. Activities include but not limited to, coordinating and hosting BVH Chairman’s Meetings, BVH Board Meetings and its sub-committee meetings, maintenance of the Board members’ registry, onboarding of new Board Members, declaration of conflict or potential conflict of interest of the Members, and yearly Board Effectiveness Survey. Other administrative duties may include submission of Annual Return and other legal document in accords to relevant Charity Act.
