The Group operates its own in-house suite of Leasing, Rentals, Pre-Owned, Body and Paint, and Automotive Finance and Insurance services, Senior Manager, PR & Corporate Communications Job Overview This role will develop and lead all corporate communication and public relations strategy for the Group. This role reports to the Group Managing Director. You will plan, develop and implement effective communications and build a positive image for the Group. Key accountabilities Group Communications . Lead the communication efforts to engage all stakeholders, customers and the general public . Manage and leverage a variety of media platforms and channels to communicate the Group's activities and interests . Work closely and collaborate with leaders of all business entities and key functions across the Group, and provide communications support to ensure key brand messages are consistently and effectively communicated . Coordinate the periodic review of the respective brand guide . Write and advice on press releases, speeches, prints including on-line, media interviews, presentations and Group-wide communications . Provide communication services and support to each business entity functional departments where requested or required . Manage and update the corporate website Media and Public Relations . Develop a strong media relationship with journalists to enhance a positive and strong brand and reputation, and response to media queries . Manage and support all PR-related activities and events across all brands and businesses . Train and develop business entity leaders on media engagement including media crisis management . Monitor negative commentaries and comments across all media platforms Crisis and Publicity Management . Manage crisis and negative publicity situations and neutralize unfavorable media coverage . Anticipate potential negative situations and recommend appropriate approaches . Ensure timely update of media crisis to the Executive Chairman Corporate Social Responsibility . Lead Group-wide efforts to build and promote corporate social responsibility and employees' involvement in CSR activities Employee Communications . Collaborate with HR to develop and implement a communications plan to engage employees Manage Budget . Manage and ensure effective use of the Corporate Comms and Public Relations budget Pre-requisites . Bachelor's degree in humanities, arts and social sciences and/or mass communications and media studies . Minimum 10 years of experience in an in-house marketing and communications capacity and with agency experience preferred . Possesses excellent writing skills . Proven track record of fostering good relations with the media and garnering positive and extensive media coverage for media campaigns, events and activities .
