Job Description


:

  • To plan, implement and manage all aspects of planning and operations of exhibition activities, including project schedule, budget, management reports and other related work processes for successful project implementation, including travelling exhibitions to overseas venues.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget and to present updates periodically during cross divisions and management meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal (e.g. Project director, project curators, conservators, marketing, planning etc) and external stakeholders (e.g. institution lenders and artists etc) to achieve project deliverables, optimal resourcing, working relationships and fostering key networks.
  • Analysing and managing project risk, monitor progress and take corrective measures.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including assist in audit reporting at end of project.
  • Review and keep up with current trends and best practices that may have an impact on exhibition/project planning, logistics and museum management issues
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant qualification in Arts Management, Project Management or Museum Studies is preferred.
  • At least 6 to 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 project management experience in museum or related industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to provide clear communication and present effectively to staff, management and museum partners.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, driven, resourceful, a good team player and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and handle administrative work.
  • Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) for daily work.
  • Basic knowledge of the following areas is an advantage: logistics, artwork conservation and exhibition design/fabrication, artwork loan agreement, legal, insurance and museum ethics.

It also won the awards for \xe2\x80\x9cBest Theme Attraction\xe2\x80\x9d at TTG Travel Awards 2017, \xe2\x80\x9cBest Attraction Experience\xe2\x80\x9d, \xe2\x80\x9cBreakthrough Contribution to Tourism\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9cBest Customer Service (Attractions)\xe2\x80\x9d at the prestigious Singapore Tourism Awards in 2016 for its role in adding to the vibrancy of Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s tourism landscape.
