You will be a part of HPB\xe2\x80\x99s Regional Health & Community Outreach division which strives to advance health promotion efforts in the community setting to reduce Singapore\xe2\x80\x99s burden of diseases.
Scope
As a key member of the Regional Health & Community Outreach division\xe2\x80\x99s East Department, you will:
Be a team player working with colleagues in HPB in the co-creation of Healthy Community Ecosystems in the community and residential settings with other governmental agencies, community partners, healthcare partners and non-profit organisations.
Be a team player to manage a variety of programmes to be offered in the Healthy Community Ecosystems in the community and residential settings with colleagues and outsourced vendors.
You may also be a team player, contributing to the department\xe2\x80\x99s efforts to coordinate and co-create cultural lifestyle programmes, projects and activities focusing on ethnic minority groups in the Malay and Indian Community.
What an ideal candidate looks like
An ideal candidate will be a dynamic, results driven and self-motivated individual with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in public health programme development, partnership and account management, and possesses:
A proven track record in successfully developing, implementing and executing partnership initiatives, with an understanding of the underlying economics of achieving win-win resolutions or agreements
Ability to present complex concepts in a clear and relevant manner to the target audience.
Effective communication (verbal & written), presentation and negotiation skills
Strong planning, analytical, business development and project management skills
Strong collaborative and partnership building skills
Prior experience in working with specific communities like the Indian, Malay or lower income segments will be an advantage
Prior experience in managing portfolios within the public sector, and data analytics will be an advantage
Prior experience in risk and operations management as well as skills and knowledge in lean management will be an advantage
The individual should also be able to;
Adapt and independently navigate through new situations and challenges
Be confident in working with both public and community partners
Multi-task, handle stressful situations and tight deadlines
Demonstrate strong team work; and
Work well in matrix and highly dynamic teams
