This role will further strengthen our Automation footprint with more experience individual of automation experience in bringing Schenker Singapore to another level. Such experience can be shared and equipped the team quicker in taking up more automation projects.


Specific Accountabilities:

• 
  Lead Project team of cross functional and implement it seamlessly, through delivery and stabilization including final solution/ proposal, UAT, stress test and etc.
• Lead internal and external solution workshop particularly on the automation solution, ensuring most efficient and optimized operation
• Implement automation and integrated solution with detailed analysis for new and existing businesses
• Review existing solution for optimization opportunities, specifically using automation and mechanization to improve productivity, accuracy and/or reduce labor fatique
• Review existing and new operations for opportunities to apply IT/Software enhancement to optimize resource efficiency
• Lead ad-hoc project team of various functions and execute it seamlessly from conceptualization
• Lead project team in the transition of warehouse inventory & warehouse relocation activities.
• Project management of workshop issue logs and implementation of customer’s agreed final solution/initiatives.
• Control of capital expenditure /investment fund requirements.
• Carry out optimization/continuous process improvement project, if required
• Initiative and implement innovative re-engineered proposal and pricing to existing accounts and secure extension/renewal of contracts, if required

• 
  Excellent project management skills with knowledge of warehouse and process automation
• Experienced and excellent in process improvement with operations exposure
• Experienced with factory and/or warehouse automation particularly in process and storage
• Ability to manage multiple project concurrently and perform under time pressure
• Good presentation skill with good convincing skill. Must be able to present proposal effectively, internally and externally
• Team player who is self-driven individual with high degree of professional integrity

• Demonstrated competence in Business Process Re-engineering and Implementation of Automation systems.
• Masters/ Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering preferred
• 6 Sigma Certification will be an advantage
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certified or equivalent will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in use of design software like Autocad, CLASS, or equivalent tools and MS applications
• Have a demonstrated record of leading successful change initiatives and creative in solution
