[What the role is]
This role drives the design and implementation of HR policies, compensation strategy and structure within the Board to attract, motivate and retain talents.
[What you will be working on]
HR Policies:
Review and implement HR policies that would fulfil organisational objectives and address staff engagement in a balanced appraoch
Ensure compliance and alignment of internal HR policies to whole of government policies and frameworks where required
Manage and organise institutional knowledge and documentation of policy implementaiton, including deviation cases
Custodian of HR policy matters and liaise with colleagues in the HR team, to ensure that HR policies are applied consistently and effectively within the organisation
Compensation and Benefits:
Review, develop and deliver STB\'s benefit package, compensation strategy and structures across STB HQ, and oversee STB\'s strategy of a competitive remuneration package to attract and retain talent.
Custodian of STB\'s manpower budget to ensure effective utilisation and planning to support STB\'s vision and growth.
Conduct regular salary reviews and benchmarking
Union partnership:
Manage relationship with Union through regular engagement and Collective Agreement negotiations
[What we are looking for]
At least 8 years of experience in HR policy formulation and practice, with knowledge of varied HR functional areas, in particular Compensation and Benefits
Experience in communication of policies to key stakeholders (eg. staff)
Working effectively with stakeholders within and outside STB to achieve results
Serving with heart, commitment and purpose
Being innovative and learning continuously
