Job Description

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the fund raising process to ensure group financing requirements are met on a timely basis
• Lead the review and negotiation of financing terms proposed by lenders
• Assess financing proposals and make recommendations
• Review and negotiate financing legal document

• Supervise loan drawings/rollovers and prompt loan interest payments
• Oversee the compliance of loan covenants relating to the debt portfolio
• Guide the review of cash flow position of development projects with development financing in place to identify surplus funds/cash deficits

• Identify and monitor the interest rate risk exposure of the debt portfolio
• Assess the need for interest rate risk management and make appropriate hedging recommendations
• Stay updated on interest rate movements and research/analyse economic impact on interest rate market trends/outlook

• Guide the preparation of management reports to the Group’s C-suites
• Develop, review and recommend improvements of debt management policies, processes and controls in line with best practices
• Support and actively participate in the implementation of Treasury Management Systems (“TMS”) especially for debt financing activities and transactions

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in debt financing and interest rate/FX risk management with some knowledge of cash management
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Self-motivated, meticulous, has positive attitude, and a committed change agent
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Knowledge of Reuters or Bloomberg
• Prior experience using or implementing TMS will be an advantage
