The Role

Reporting to the VP / Country Manager, the primary focus of this role is to designing tailor-made solutions and coordination of various projects for our customers.

Customer Oriented:

• Develop and expand the market for project-oriented customer for Singapore.
• Plan and manage work processes and resources to efficiently meet customer requirements.
• Coordination and planning of solutions for customer.
• Drafting of tender proposals and pricing related to freight projects.
• Manage project stakeholders, such as clients, contractors, project partners and other relevant parties.
• Oversee project to fulfilment and delivery as customer expectations.

Operational Excellence:

• Project coordination and execution, including on ground supervision.
• Ensure the proper execution of projects from planning the timeline and budget, meeting the agreed objectives.
• Drive strategic and operational projects to support development.
• Support quality and compliance targets and service levels.
• Travel to various locations of execution.
• Ensure that data is properly collected and maintained for reporting purposes

Resource Management:

• Manage freight and logistics related projects from set up, implementation, supervision to the fulfilment of deliverables.
• Oversee business relationships with external vendors and partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams for preparation of proposals and project tenders.

Qualifications

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor degree in management, Marketing, Sales, or related field of study preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant working experience in project and sales within the freight forwarding industry.
• Strong analytical thinking and knowledge of global freight forwarding operations and markets.
• Strong selling and presentation as well negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions
• Full JD will be shared upon interview
