What you will be working on:Prepare MDDI and Singapore for a digital future in this role that requires you to employ tools including but not limited to foresight and futures thinking, to: 1. Scan issues on the horizon that could impact the people of Singapore and MDDI's Smart Nation 2.0 digital ambitions 2. Tap diverse sources to produce good analysis of these issues 3. Contextualise research into preliminary strategy recommendations 4. Facilitate meaningful discussions with the policy community to generate new insights to inform strategy and policy 5. Grow the above capabilities in others across the MDDI family 6. Build thought leadership in foresight and strategy for the digital domainWhat we are looking for:To do this, you should have the following: 1. Deep curiosity and resilience to seek new ideas and iteratively test hypotheses about the future in the digital domain 2. Resourcefulness for diverse information gathering 3. An analytical mind to break down important issues 4. Good communications skills that can adapt to both a policy audience and external networks 5. Be a good team player 6.
