[What the role is]

The officer will be part of the Corporate Planning & Development team under the Resource Discovery and Management division, managing inter/intra divisional projects alongside multiple stakeholders to achieve effective resource planning and management. The corporate planning portfolio include managing the division\xe2\x80\x99s work planning activities and ensuring governance and compliance in the division\xe2\x80\x99s operational processes. The officer will be required to create and deliver effective presentations to major stakeholders and draft business cases, policies, guidelines, and procedures well. Simple data analysis and its related work may be required.

Project Management

• Manage divisional projects e.g. divisional-level tenders, facilities improvement projects, system and process improvement projects
• Complete end-to-end project management life cycle (i.e. project initiation, planning, execution and closure), including transition of projects to operations group and post implementation review
• Represent RDM as a divisional representative in cross-divisional projects and new initiatives such as development of new libraries or upgrading of existing libraries

Planning, Governance and Compliance

• Manage the division\xe2\x80\x99s strategic planning activities to support its short-term and long-range function for operational effectiveness
• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies, guidelines and standards including clarifications with the relevant parties as well as the preparation and submission of responses and supporting documents for audit exercise
• Supervise the development and implementation of relevant performance management processes and reporting systems to track the division\xe2\x80\x99s key performance indicators and work achievements

Data Analysis

• Perform operational data analytics to support the division\xe2\x80\x99s capabilities in resource planning and management.

[What we are looking for]

• At least 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years of relevant experience in project management, with breadth of experience managing projects across functions preferred
• Strong interest in strategic planning, corporate governance & risk management, with experience in these areas preferred
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal & communication skills, especially in regard to stakeholder management
• Produce and deliver high quality presentations and possesses a good command of written and spoken English
• Proficient in Excel and analysis of data, including use of statistical techniques and tools to interpret data findings
• A good team player who can multitask and has the ability to work and think independently

The successful applicant will first be appointed on a 2-year contract basis.
