[What the role is]
You will be part of a highly professional Grant Management team to develop and deliver grant programmes with partners to achieve the Board\xe2\x80\x99s strategic outcomes. Impact measurement is critical to inform decision-making throughout the grant process, so as to ensure good accountability and grant efficacy. Tote Board is currently developing in-house Impact and Outcome Management (IOM) capacities and seeking to build sector capabilities in this area as well.
[What you will be working on]
Responsibilities
You will manage a portfolio of grants cutting across sectors to enable the Board to be a strategic and impactful grant giver. We require a candidate with interest and experience in philanthropic giving/ grant making, particularly in designing impact measurement plans; proposing appropriate tests and methodologies; and implementing an impact measurement and management system. The work design includes the following aspects:
Conduct sector and issues-based analysis and draw on business insights to identify gaps and needs, to refine and operationalised the existing IOM framework;
Collaborate with stakeholders on the end-to-end impact measurement process, (including developing the logic model, setting of performance indicators, and reporting methodologies etc)
Establish relevant and sound processes, and build relevant tools, for measurement and evaluation of grants, e.g., data collection and structuring methods for adequate monitoring and evaluation of grants; grant reporting etc.;
Provide statistical, research and evaluation design expertise to Toteboard teams and partners on IOM framework, measurement and process and thereby help build the sector build IOM capability;
Contribute to the design of new strategies, portfolio development, data initiatives within Toteboard.
Ensure grants approved have long-term sustainability and impact. Grants have integrated theories of change, measurable impact models, scaling, collaborations and clear implementation plans .
Collaborate with partners to co-create innovative programmes in line with Toteboard\xe2\x80\x99s strategic outcomes; evaluate grant proposals received; and manage the implementation of projects to drive results and impact.
[What we are looking for]
Requirements:
Trained in business administration, social sciences, economics, finance, statistics, or relevant disciplines
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in performance monitoring and evaluation role
Strong knowledge of key impact measurement and evaluation methodologies
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Strong coaching, facilitation and negotiation skills
Ability to work under the pressure, with minimum supervision;
Good organisational and planning ability
Demonstrated initiative, tact and high sense of responsibility and discretion;
Ability to multi-task, work independently
Strong team player
Ability to tackle issues from macro and micro perspectives, especially in the area of public policy
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Excellent quantitative, qualitative, and analytical skills (data visualisation and analytics proficiency a must, Tableau preferred)
Note : This is a fixed term contract position for a period of 2 years
