The Role

Teachers are the heart and soul of the company. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the job with an ability to reach out to students and create a relationship of mutual trust. They will know how to organize a class and make learning a fun and meaningful process. The goal is to help cultivate the students\xe2\x80\x99 interest in language education and be their dedicated ally in the entire process of learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor, guiding and nurturing new teachers while sharing teaching experiences.
• Assume leadership roles within the school or educational institution, coordinating and managing teaching teams to enhance teaching quality.
• Conduct lessons in accordance with centre curriculum.
• Plan and develop teaching materials.
• Prepare student progress report.
• Assist in centre events and activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents by providing regular updates on students.
• Design and develop effective Chinese language teaching plans incorporating the latest teaching methods and educational technology.

• Degree in Education, Linguistics, Chinese Language, or a related field at least 5 yrs of relevant working experience
• Excellent proficiency in Chinese language, with fluent spoken and written Mandarin.
• Extensive experience in Chinese language teaching, including at an advanced level.
• Innovative and leadership abilities in teaching methods, curriculum design, and educational technology.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Previous mentoring or educational management experience is a plus.
• Full-time 5 days a week (required to work on Saturday & Sunday)
• Part-time position available for highly experienced teachers
