The Partnerships & Loyalty Senior Regional Marketing Executive at Chope will report directly to the Regional Partnerships and Loyalty Marketing Manager, working closely with other stakeholders that include (but not limited to) other functions within regional marketing, local marketing teams, product teams, etc.

In the partnerships function, you will be responsible for sniffing out and ideating opportunities, negotiating terms, and striking up all future partnerships be they in the B2C or B2B realm. These partnerships will be for Chope's presence across existing cities as well as potential new ones. This person will have the knack of figuring out and connecting with the sort of companies and brands that our users would identify with, and at the other end of it, strike the right partnership deals with these brands. Your success in this position will be a direct result of the type of partnerships you're able to close that would benefit our brand, as well as the added 'coolness factor' these partnerships would bring to Chope and its users.

For loyalty, you will be responsible in ensuring our loyalty programme is relevant and attractive, one that incentivises loyal users to stay with us, and new users to get onboard our programme. You will work closely with other marketers to ensure that the programme is deployed in a meaningful way that will augment their communication efforts. Where relevant, leveraging partnerships in our ecosystem to do so.

About the role

  • Our partnerships & loyalty senior executive will support in strategizing and planning Chope's partnership & loyalty programme in line with the company's direction and objectives.
  • Develop strategic plans for both functional areas that will drive diner and restaurant / merchant value and diner and restaurant / merchant retention.
  • Work with key stakeholders to assess market opportunities and determine key impact drivers for each of these areas.
  • Work with necessary teams to assess and implement technical requirements to make proposed initiatives a success.
  • Manage financial viability of initiatives.
  • Evaluate and measure effectiveness of partnerships and loyalty against business objectives.
  • Identify, meet, and close partnerships (both non-paid and paid) with brands, services, corporate entities which could help build Chope's brand awareness, and/or help Chope's users benefit from such partnerships as well as who themselves could benefit by promoting themselves to Chope's users.
  • This role would also require some level of exploration, and networking to connect with others and exploring less obvious opportunities that will further our vision and mission. In some cases, creative solutioning in being able to close partnerships or explore ideas will be required.
  • Close cross functional collaboration with other team members and functions is also needed to help ensure the best experience for our diners and restaurants.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of working experience in marketing / partnerships / loyalty
  • Someone who has demonstrated the ability to close partnerships on his/her own.
  • Experience scaling customer acquisition, retention and driving CLTV within a budget.
  • Independent and proactive mindset, with the ability to be productive and efficient in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Experienced collaborator, and motivated team player.
  • Able to build positive, lasting relationships with partners/clients
  • Able to be productive and efficient with minimal supervision (because we work fast, and want to grow fast)
  • Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and conscientious
  • Keen appreciation of data and insights and its role in driving better business outcomes
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
While not required, the following skills/experience will be favourably considered
  • Closed partnerships with big brands, preferably but not limited to airlines, e-commerce platforms, alcohol brands, FMCG brands, etc
  • Previously worked at a startup
  • Being an existing user of Chope
