• Issue purchase orders and respond appropriately for any open orders
• Input all the materials shortages in the Pacer System
• Track order availability, shortages, and delivery with vendors
• Identify, evaluate, and propose material solutions and coordinate with Planning Team to support production plan.
• Drive supplier performance reviews to attain the desired levels of cost, quality, delivery and support services.
• Ensure material fulfillment for engine production and keeping inventory at optimal level by optimizing active WIP and monitoring aging FG / WIP.
• Review parts usage analysis and ensure action plan is taken to keep the stock at the right level based on current usage trend (ROP/ROL).
• Liaise with vendors on defect parts for resolution (DR report)
• Reconciliation of invoices discrepancies (DFM)
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC or Diploma in Supply Chain Management other related engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years work experience in procurement. Experience in aviation will be advantageous.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team with a positive attitude.
• Good working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
• Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position.
