Qualifications and Competencies


Experience in system & sub-system design Proficiency in CAD software, technical drawing, and mechanical design Experience with thermal and structural analysis, and FEA simulations Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials Experience in project management and team leadership Experience in documentation e.g. Risk Assessment and FMEA Problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and collaborative skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to guide junior engineers Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; advanced degree is a plus Experience in the medical device industry is a plus Fresh graduate shall be considered for junior position
Key Responsibilities


Designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. Creating technical drawings and specifications, conducting simulations and analyses, test and improve of prototype. Create/ update of QMS documents. Overseeing manufacturing processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations and contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts. * Troubleshoot variance/ issue of mechanical system/ component.
