- Perform routine test procedures, both automated and manual.
- Review all daily QC results and discuss any problems with the appropriate section manager or the designate.
- Responsible for checking the performance of all instruments in the laboratory.
- Maintain proper inventory level of all supplies and reports any deficiency.
- Ensure the highest level of laboratory standard is performed every day.
- Ensure quality control settings/ continuous quality improvement processes, where necessary.
- Follow all safety procedures and compliance.
- Perform other administrative duties or ad-hoc quality departmental projects as required.
- Work as part of a bigger team to provide quality patient care.
- Candidate must possess a Diploma/Degree in Biomedical Sciences.
- 3 years of related work experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong technical expertise in clinical chemistry/immunology/haematology testing.
- Good communication and management skills.
- Ability to communicate well and able to articulate procedures effectively.
