The Opportunity:Adecco is partnering with an American Retail MNC with a global presence worldwide, and we are seeking a talented individual to join their business as a Senior Merchandiser based at their Singapore HQ! Reporting directly to the Sourcing Manager based in Hong Kong, the successful incumbent will source vendors and handle daily operations (supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification & order follow-up) for seasonal decor.

• Permanent opportunity
• Work location: Central Region
• Work days/hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm
• FMCG industry - seasonal decor (decorative lighting, artificial trees, party favors, party decor, plush toys for different seasonal events e.g. Valentine\'s Day, Halloween, Christmas)

The Job:

• Source and develop new suppliers and products in line with the company\'s policy
• Expand the sourcing footprint in various regions
• Assist in daily operational activities including supplier management, product development, quote sheets, sample verification, order follow-up
• Handle trade terms negotiation and vendor set up, on-time shipment and critical path management
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure adherence to KPI measurements
• Close collaboration with buyers and vendors to ensure programs are delivered timely
• Coordinate the sourcing activities with QA, supply chain and packaging team

The Talent:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in sourcing and merchandising for hard goods
• Experience in US Sourcing/Buying office and familiarity with the sourcing landscape in China, Southeast Asia, and India would be highly advantageous
• Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) is a must
• Detail-oriented, meticulous, and strong analytical skills
• Strategic mindset and strong commitment to achieving business objectives
• Ability to multi-task in a high-energy working environment
