We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer for our client in the marine industry to be responsible for the installation, termination, and management of network equipment. The role requires strong hands-on experience in configuring and testing network switches, routers, WLAN controllers, access points, and firewalls. In addition, the ideal candidate is expected to have expertise in data center infrastructure design and implementation, covering servers, SAN storage, and network architecture.
Responsibilities:
Lead system design and implementation, ensuring all client requirements are met from project initiation through to successful delivery.
Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) in-house and prepare comprehensive FAT reports.
Provide customer training, technical presentations, and ongoing support.
Ensure delivery of Functional Design Documentation, Infrastructure Block Diagram, System Termination Diagram, Network, Server & Storage Configuration Profiles, Infrastructure Security Policy Profiles & FAT & SAT Procedures and Reports
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in a similar engineering role.
Strong organizational skills with a focus on documentation, timely delivery, and problem-solving.
Professional certifications preferred: Cisco (CCNP), NetApp (NCDA), EMC, and VMware (VCIX6-DCV).
