About the Department


The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.
Personal Financial Services We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities


The HNW Case Manager incumbent will be responsible for the case management journey of pre-sale as well as post-sale service transactions. He/She would support insurance sales operations to ensure a smooth, timely, and positive service experience for the Bancassurance Advisers and customers on the HNW sales application journey. Listed below are the main responsibilities of the HNW Case Manager:

End-to-End Case Management
  • The Case Manager is responsible for overseeing the service aspects throughout the sales process cycle (Pre-sale and Post-sale)

Pre-Sale
  • The Case Manager will assist the team to New Business & Underwriting and ensuring sales compliance by processing the required financial and medical documents, underwriting requirements and other necessary documents, critical for policy issuance. Responsible for communicating proactive status updates.

Post-Sale
  • The Case Manager will assist the team to manage Distribution Partners, Policy Services, Client Services on in-force policy requests including policy changes, in-force illustrations, claims and other post-sales related transactions.
  • Consistently and accurately track incoming submissions and correspondence from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and liaise with insurers on necessary reports, as required, for the tracking of outstanding issues, submissions and feedback where applicable.
  • Other responsibilities
o Handle underwriting requirements for New Business & Underwriting team; ensure documents received are processed promptly
o Attend to queries relating to clients’ medical examinations; upon receipt of medical reports, to verify against internal records before processing
o Help follow up with clinics and/or hospitals for Attending Physician Statements; the follow-up should be done via phone call and/or email
o Maintain a Standard Operations Manual (SOP) for HNW administration on a timely basis and update whenever there are changes or updates
o Maintain a Standard Operations Manual (SOP) for HNW sales process on a timely basis and update whenever there are changes or updates; propose enhancements if necessary, to enhance process efficiency
o Work closely with internal stakeholders and service providers to manage distributors’/clients’ expectations
o Work on designated tasks that are delegated from time to time, including routine administrative duties that are associated with the business.

Job Requirements


  • Tertiary Education (Diploma/Degree from a recognized institution/university)
  • Minimum 3 years of insurance industry experience
  • Highly service-oriented and able to multi-task with excellent organization skills
  • Possess strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced and changing environment
