About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

  • Complete reconciliation and other assigned tasks accurately, timely and in accordance with the standard operating procedures. The tasks include cash and securities reconciliations, control monitoring and reporting, vault management, records management, supporting audit, control and compliance reviews, operational data reporting, etc.
  • Handle queries from internal stakeholders and external parties as appropriate and within the stipulated service level agreement.
  • Ensure all internal controls and standard operating procedures are complied with.
  • Continuously review and monitor processes and workflows for improvement in efficiency and productivity.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects to support the development and implementation of new systems, workflows and processes.
Job Requirements
  • 1-2 years of relevant working experience in custody or banking operations.
  • Sound banking, financial, compliance, control and regulatory knowledge.
  • Experience in reviewing processes and procedures for improvement.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, VBA and macros will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective communication with internal stakeholders, custodians, exchange, brokers, registrars and auditors.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
