About the Department

Group Technology and Operations (GTO) provides software and system development, information technology support services and banking operations.

We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 19 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible banking infrastructure.

Our Operations divisions provide transactional customer services for our businesses while also focusing on cost efficiency through process improvements, automation and straight through processing.

Job Responsibilities

• Strengthen and perform first line reconciliations and controls
• Implement continuous monitoring tools to improve control environment
• Perform targeted reviews across processes
• Audit Management for trade related operations
• Implement automation and analytics capabilities for Trade Operations Centre locally and across region
• Improve risk awareness and risk culture in the team

Job Requirements

• At least 2 years\' experience and in-depth knowledge in Trade Finance/Commodity/Export-Import operations and LC Documents checking within a bank
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous and strong follow up skills
• Strong leadership and able to work independently and strong teamwork
• Good English and Cantonese Language literacy to support and liaise with Cantonese speaking Hong Kong clients and counterparts.
• Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills
• Strong Knowledge in UCP600/ISBP/URC/URR/ISP/INCOTERMS and MT Swift messages
• Basic accounting and treasury knowledge
• Strong Strategic planning and organizing skill
• CDCS certified preferred
• Inquisitive & positive learning attitude
