Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. • Perform system checks for all requests for redemption Determine the security & type of facility to be discharged & redeemed Appoint Lawyer to act for Bank & follow-up till redemption amount is collected
• Monitor redemption cases closely & ensure all steps are performed up to completion of redemption and file closure
• Confirm outstanding insurance premium; determine refund of excess premium to bank/customer upon completion of redemption
• Communicate with Lawyer/RM on matters relating to redemption cases
• Request for release of security documents to lawyers relating to cancellation of facilities
• Check & sign as witness on legal documents relating to redemption
• Process limit cancellation & release of earmark of fixed deposits for fully cash-backed facilities
• Process claims on bankers guarantee
• Prepare instruction forms to IBG Ops/CCU relating to cancellation and updating of facilities
• Perform other service requests which include arrange to remove Charge with ACRA
• Arrange for fee collection relating to remove Charge with ACRA
• Manage ad hoc projects assigned by Team Lead / Manager
• Coach and provide guidance to new staff
• Ensure that feedback and/or complaints are investigated and handled promptly
• Handle monthly MIS reports for the team
• Create and maintain databases for the team
• Assist in other administrative areas

Requirement

• Degree / Diploma holder with at least 2 years relevant working experience in the banking sector.
• Proficiency in MS Office application.
• Self-motivated, strong attention to details skills, good organizational skills and able to multi-task.
• Knowledge in corporate banking products will be advantageous.
