A world leading publicly listed metal recycler, our operations encompass the buying, processing and selling of ferrous and non-ferrous recycled metals. Our metals recycling operations are geographically diverse, with operations in five continents, including the United States, Australasia and the United Kingdom, comprising a network of processing facilities, many with deep-water port access, supported by an extensive network of feeder yards from which to source recyclable ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Provide quality service as part of the Operations Support team to our customers, assisting with processing and handling their claims for shortage, quality, detention etc. On top of that, you will play an instrumental role in building up the claims module and drive process efficiency changes.   • Review and timely registering of claims in the system
  • Register and review supporting documents of incoming claims
  • Partner Traders and Yards/Regions to ensure timely agreement to a claim settlement
  • Prepare and analyse detailed reports summarising claims activity for management
  • Keep customers updated on claim status, payment schedule and other pertinent information
  • Maintain Claims database
  • Work with Accounting ensure settlement of claims
  • Follow up with traders/yards to settle aged claims
  • Training and supervising Operations Administrator on day-to-day operations
  • Testing and supporting the rollour of SAP claims/adjustment module
  • Endure proper handling of OBL printing and managing of the OBL papers
  • Prepare SOP/work instructions for claims process and provide training
Minimum requirements:
  • Bachalor Degree in Business Admin / Accounting or LCCI Higher or related decipline
  • 3 years of working experience
  • Proficeint in MS Office
  • Knowledge of ERP system, preferably SAP
  • Knowledge of Power BI is an added advantage
