Job Description

Organise the execution of operations according to different warehousing situations and contingencies (conversant with relevant warehouse BCP) Execute warehouse storage plan and ensure proper housekeeping in accordance to the 5S (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardise, Sustain) +1 (Safety). Maintain quality standards and ensure stocks accuracy. Perform planning of resources within operational activities. Address operational shortfall in resources. Resolve operational shortfall, warehouse operations quality issues and documentation non-conformities. Escalate team's under-performance and/or misconduct for further actions. Daily attendance reporting to management. Process and complete preparation of orders outside the working hours, on weekends or public holidays, during normalcy and during emergency upon activation. Plan and prioritise resources in accordance with the urgency of the demand and ability to execute urgent order fulfilment. Facilitate stock taking activities. Support manager in cargo consolidation activities to save space and cost. Address material handling equipment maintenance and repair needs. Ensure team to adhere in compliance to safety policies, standards and procedures. Participate in Gemba Walks periodically to identify safety risks/hazards. Participate in safety risk assessment and provide solutioning discussions to improve safety processes. Operate systems, technology and electronic tools deployed (e.g. Orbiter, vertical lift module, pallet inverter, RF handheld device, WMS, Warehouse Control System for Automated VNA system etc.) Provide guidance and conduct learning activities on systems, technology and electronic tools deployed.Requirements Diploma or higher qualification in any discipline. Biz Safe level 3 qualified. Forklift license is an added advantage Windows, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access), WMS knowledge is preferred.
