A Singapore-based leadership opportunity is now available for a Senior Operations & Maintenance Manager to join their well-established business.
Leading the entire service-delivery team, incorporating Maintenance Managers, IT & Controls Engineers, Spare Part Coordinator, Maintenance Planners, Process Engineer and support services you will act as the company ambassador to the client and take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of O+M services at Changi Airport as well as customer satisfaction, contract management, continuous improvement, people, reporting and finance. You will also act as the key customer contact for all operational and technical issues.
Specifically:
Manage SLA\'s as per contract and agreed with customers
Report KPI\'s to ensure efficiencies within the team
Establish and drive local Value Office team
Continuous improvement initiatives planned and undertaken
Change Management (mind set of teams, new processes, upskilling)
Personal Management
EH+S
Final responsibility for performance of maintenance and operations on specific site
Budget control
Operate as client\'s Site Representative
About you To thrive in this key role it is essential that you have previous experience in the delivery of services in large-scale industrial automation environment. BHS/baggage-handling systems experience is a strong preference but you may also have a background in parcel sortation, intralogistics or similar. In addition to your degree/above qualification in and Engineering discipline you will also have/be
Demonstrable experience a Team Lead/maintenance management role
Background in automated handling systems, the capital goods industry and/or system integration business
Entrepreneur, people manager and good communicator, who can develop long term business relationships and/or networks
Natural leader (combination of people & technical skills) and a strong personality
Good influencing skills
Used to work with 3rd party service providers as sub-contractors
Experience of service contracts
Drive for continuous improvement
24/7 attitude, planning your day is essential
Able to think and act on a long term bases
Commercial drive to identify and pursue opportunities
Safety orientated with knowledge or training to influence staff to avoid, detect and resolve safety hazards via purchased solutions or enacting procedures
