Job Description


Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and coordinate all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet the changing levels of product demand .

  • Assist logistics process for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, shipment and delivery, and returns on products.
  • Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective.
  • Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors.
  • Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements.
  • Understanding of principles of accounting and finance.
  • Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds in order to identify problems and find solutions.
  • Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions
  • Plan and review compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures
  • Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends
  • Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions
  • Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping
  • Lead the organizational transformation to achieve increased efficiency, quality and safety;
  • Develop the department’s talent through continual review of job responsibilities and performance indicators;
  • Perform change management by leading the adoption of new technologies and skills;
  • Conduct trainings for employees to upgrade or renew their skills and competencies;
  • Provide direction in creating operational excellence through various methodologies across the department;
  • Develop and own the key performance indicators metric and ensure that it is well communicated and monitored through the levels of management;
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of managerial experience with relevant experience;
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills;
  • Ability to build strong rapport with people of various backgrounds;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Innovative, driven and proactive in leading change and process improvement initiatives;
  • All races welcome
  • Night shift/some sunday have to work if needs.
