Our Client:
Our client is a leading Petrochemical company. They are seeking for a Senior Operator in Trading to join their team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:
\xe3\x83\xbbTo monitor and follow market news from agencies like Platts, Argus, and Reuters
\xe3\x83\xbbTo Exchange market developments including trades done, supply and demand balances with market reporters and counterparties
\xe3\x83\xbbTo conduct trades- buy and sell petroleum products on behalf of company\'s system
\xe3\x83\xbbTo Negotiate and execute both short- and long- term contracts
\xe3\x83\xbbTo build and maintain good working relationships with oil trading companies and refiners and explore opportunities to expand business
\xe3\x83\xbbOversees cargo operations, pre-empt operational problems and together with other members in the trading team help to resolve the issues
\xe3\x83\xbbAssist in handling full cargo operations including vessel screening; making of and countering of contractual terms; preparing documentary instructions; voyage/discharging order; calculating and negotiating demurrages; preparing pricing and invoices; monitor of payments and others

Requirements

The Requirements:
\xe3\x83\xbbPossess Diploma with min 2 years of relevant experience
\xe3\x83\xbbMin 5 years\' energy trading industry cargo operation experience, especially Petroleum
\xe3\x83\xbbStrong understanding of Petroleum cargo logistics and shipping practices
\xe3\x83\xbbBe updated and knowledgeable of the trend within the Petroleum trading market
\xe3\x83\xbbA team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\xe3\x83\xbbProactive, independent, who can maintain a constructive mindset, eager to acquire new knowledge, and capable of collaborating within a team
\xe3\x83\xbbDependable, a team player, and approachable
\xe3\x83\xbbAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
\xe3\x83\xbbOrganized, meticulous, and possess a strong sense of urgency
\xe3\x83\xbbDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
\xe3\x83\xbbMaintain a mature discretion in handling confidential information/issues
\xe3\x83\xbbProficient with Microsoft Office and other Microsoft applications
