The Senior Patient Service Associate (Assistant Supervisor/ Supervisor) assists the block and wards nursing supervisors to perform administrative cum operational duties, including leading and managing a team of Patient Service Associates (PSAs). Job The Senior Patient Service Associate (Assistant Supervisor/ Supervisor) assists the block and wards nursing supervisors to perform administrative cum operational duties, including leading and managing a team of Patient Service Associates (PSAs). Orientates and precepts new PSAs Supervises new and junior PSAs Oversees PSAs' leaves, roster, coverage, claims and daily operations Conducts learning need analyses for his/her team of PSAs Collaborates with wards supervisors in conducting TPM to his/her team of PSAs Conducts and chairs PSAs meetings Conducts UAT testing and evaluation of PSA related system, new IT system specification gathering and training Writes minutes of meetings as assigned by nursing supervisors Assists the senior nursing supervisors in providing administrative and operational support. He/She will coordinate ward projects and collate information as and when required. Assists in the yearly collation of OOE (Other Operative Expenditure) and CAPEX (Capital Expenditure). Monitors the following operational indicators and reports to nursing supervisors accordingly: Consumables charging MRMS (Medical Records Management System) checking in and checking out of medical records. Scanning of patient's discharge notes into C.doc Bill-upon-discharge status Treatment category accuracy in the Daily Census Reports Patients' Hospital diagnoses are entered upon admissions Participates in quality improvement activities. Participates in workgroups and committees as assigned. Performs any other duties and expanded roles as assigned by the Nursing Supervisors. Plans roster for PSA Requirements A minimum 2 years of working experience as Senior Patient Service Associate Diploma level qualification preferred Relevant experience in healthcare institution preferred. Good interpersonal and communication skills. A good team player. Competent in Microsoft applications like MS Word, MS Excel, etc. We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
