You will maintain a continuous improvement mindset to seek out opportunities for enhancements to quality, productivity and/or patient safety and care.Responsibilities Supply and counsel patients on their medication. Organize, co-ordinate, control and supervise dispensing of medication and fee collection at Pharmacy according to protocol and legal requirements. Organize and supervise maintenance of adequate stock in Pharmacy and ensure adequate stick control and security and maintain records of stock movement. Educate and counsel patients on proper use of medication. Answer queries on drugs and products to enable appropriate use by prescribers. Supervise opening and closing of cash counter daily. Provide statistical information on workload performances. Record and issue controlled drugs in accordance with legal requirements. Involve in Quality Improvement or Patient Safety Project. Provide training for pre-registration Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians. Ensure pharmacy policies and procedures implemented consistently. Assist in review and formulation of operational procedures. Participate in pharmacy education, research, development programmes and professional society activities. Provide in-service programmes for pharmacy personnel and other hospital staff. Cover duties of pharmacist in other areas of Pharmacy when required. Any other duties assigned by Supervisor / Head, PharmacyRequirements Bachelor Science in Pharmacy or equivalent. Registered with Singapore Pharmacy Council. Preferably 1 year's experience in hospital or retail environment. Strong oral and writing skills. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccinationsOnly shortlisted candidates will be notified.
