Job Description


-The Opportunity:Adecco is collaborating with a major provider of equipment for making semiconductors and electronic devices. It designs and builds machines that help in packaging and assembling these components. Serving customers worldwide, it plays a key role in improving how semiconductors are made, with its technology being used in industries like automotive, consumer electronics, and data storage.As a Senior Planner, this person coordinates the production process, ensuring machines are built on time by working with different teams. They manage schedules, solve material issues, lead meetings, track changes, and handle inventory counts, while making sure everything runs smoothly.

  • Work location: Serangoon
  • Work hours: Mon-Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm
  • Salary: up to $6,500 + AWS + VB (15%)
The Job:
  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and oversee the final approval of machine builds throughout the entire production cycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and manage shipment and manufacturing schedules on a weekly or daily basis, coordinating with Production, Operations Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Operations, and Marketing as necessary.
  • Follow up with buyers on material shortages and expected delivery dates, escalating any issues that may impact build or shipment timelines.
  • Lead production meetings, material shortage reviews, and present updates during the Weekly Master Production Schedule (MPS) meeting.
  • Attend weekly Engineering Change Order (ECO) meetings, ensuring proper implementation and monitoring of any new changes to the Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Oversee Manufacturing Variance (MUV) and Finished Goods/Work-in-Progress (FG/WIP) physical inventory counts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
The Talent:
  • At least 5 years of experience in materials and production planning within a manufacturing environment, with a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Oracle), Microsoft Office, and Excel Macros, with Oracle report writing skills as an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of production flow, constraints, and scheduling, with the ability to multi-task and collaborate as an effective team player.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
