Job Responsibilities:

Below responsibility is applicable to all the product lines that are manufactured in Singapore Tuas Plant.

Planning & Execution:

• Prepare material planning schedule and ensure 100% schedule attainment.
• Maintain Material Master data in SAP (Safety Stock, Min/Max, MRP Tab1/2 data etc).
• Lead the project in managing the lead time reduction activity and improve On-time delivery.
• Conduct weekly production meeting to ensure all the functions are in-line with to achieve the production plan.
• Follow up & liaise with buyers & logistic on material delivery from vendor packing list release till arrival to plant for production consumption.
• Continuous improvement to drive increase in productivity.
• Data analysis and forecasting methods to be used to analyze the MTS strategy every quarter.
• Simulate the expected components shortage to prioritize specific order(s) besides other orders identified for components reservation.

New Material Creation & MRP Activities:

• Create & maintain PN MM/PIR/Source list for production BOM components & trading items.
• User verification on functionalities & continuous system performance improvement.
• SAP transactions debug & problem solving. (i.e. material/product transaction, MO/SO/DO/PO related issues).
• Manufacturing Order review, prioritization, scheduling & release.

Production Capacity Planning:

• Simulation of capacity requirement for any insertion order or project orders.
• Forward planning to even the loading by pulling forward or delaying loading to avoid capacity shortage.
• Estimation of monthly overtime requirement or the need for capacity increase.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years experiences in a similar manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge in SAP/Oracle system.
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g. Excel, Word etc).
