About our client: Our client is a leading engineering and construction services company, specialized in transport, water & wastewater, marine & coastal, energy, resources and building.

About the role:

• Responsible for the planning and scheduling functions for the tender and bid opportunities.
• Establish and maintain accurate construction, procurement and deliverables schedules based on the Work Breakdown Structure and contract requirements.
• Update schedules on a regular basis to accurately reflect the current status of progress.
• Amend schedules to reflect changes to the project tender scope.
• Provide accurate forecasting and progress reporting including managing change control and reporting earned value (EV) measuring the progress of design, procurement, and construction.
• Develop and maintain s-curve reports and provide overall progress reports and other matters related to schedule as required.
• Oversee the preparation and monitoring of construction schedules, methods, manning charts and equipment requirements. Advise on actions to be taken to prevent or improve undesirable trends in progress.

About you:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or minimum 10+ years relevant construction/Civil industry planning/scheduling experience for tender and bid opportunities.
• Competent in planning and organising work schedules.
• Knowledge of Primavera Software P3 or P6.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments.
• Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
