The Senior Planning Manager will work closely with the client team, stakeholders and construction teams. Must have extensive planning experience working as a consultant delivering into a client. Role is to work as part of a team generating integrated end to end schedule for whole of major programme and to work with the design team leaders to advise the team to manage schedule for multiple consultants, advising on input / outputs, progress and to communicate using roadmaps and presentations. • Primary responsible for the development and maintenance P6 programme for design team
• Primary role to work with / for the client\'s design team to support in delivering the design, stakeholder sign-off and inputs / outputs to utilities, third parties and other teams working with the client
• Work with and support the Planning and Project Controls lead for the client\'s Project Controls
• Update the schedule monthly in line with the calendar and reporting cycle
• Maintain a watching brief on interface milestones between projects and report on these
• Produce summary version of the schedule and include in Strategic Programme
• Identify and include Key Interfaces with other parties
• Work with other planners to ensure correct integration of activities, interfaces and handovers
• Liaise with Development and delivery teams for programme creation, integration and progress
• Implement and maintain roadmaps to communicate programme to team and highlight issues / concerns
• Work with other workstream leads/planners to maintain programme alignment for multiple fit out areas
• Review for acceptance Consultants / Contractors schedules in line with contractual obligations and manage the relationship and on-going submission of these schedules
• Update programmes with progress as required (taking into account consultants / contractors progress where appropriate)
• Assist with the production of regular Progress Dashboards and Reports
• Attend progress review meetings as required and advise on the correctness of progress updates and impact on completion, interface and handover dates
• Develop programmes for other workstreams as required.
• Where necessary undertake or contribute to a QSRA

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years planning experience particularly within the Aviation or major infrastructure sector.
• Global mega project experience essential
• Excellent Primavera P6 skills essential
• Good knowledge of all standard Microsoft packages as well as MS Project
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in construction related field preferred
• Relevant professional qualification
