The incumbent is the platform planner of Singtel Networks Datalake (NDC). The NDC provides a central depositary of all Networks data. These data, including processing data into useful insights, is crucial to various stakeholders including customer and network operations, marketing and products. It also serves as data monetisation with external parties including Dataspark and corporations through Singtel Enterprise. As a Senior Planner of Data Lake, you are responsible for the lifecycle of Network Data Lake. You will play a pivotal role in Capex and Opex, designing, implementation and optimisation of NDC and its security infrastructure. The incumbent will have to work with vendors and navigate complex technology to achieve optimum on premise and/or hybrid data lake and machine learning and GenAI architecture in data processing and workload management. He/she needs to have a good problem-solving capability, strategic thinking and experience in telecommunication network and IT related architecture.

The incumbent will also undertake the role of a senior analytics use case manager. The senior analytics use case manager will work with various businesses and Network stakeholders, data engineering and data scientists to develop ideate, design and implement use cases that will improve customer experience as well as network efficiency. He/she will also be required to support the department\'s Director and GDO in data governance for the entire network group.

Make an Impact by:

• Resource planning of Network Datalake platform: Manage Capex and Opex for Network Datalake platform. Ensure workload and storage capacity are optimised for all Network related use cases. He/she will need to manage resource allocation, budgeting and procurement of hardware and software licenses for the entire platform.
• Team collaboration: As a senior member of Network Analytics team, he/she will work and provide guidance to various teams ranging from service delivery and operation to data engineers and data scientists for a wide- ranging activities including implementation of new capabilities, change request, expansion and migration of data nodes.
• Performance Optimisation: Oversee the ongoing performance monitoring and optimisation of data lake, Kafka streaming to addressing scalability and efficiency challenges.
• Technology Evaluation and Adoption: Stay informed about emerging technologies, assess their relevance to network analytics and lead the adoption of new tools and platforms.
• Data Governance and security compliance: Establish and enforce data governance, security compliance and best practices within data lake environment. Support as a data governance SPOC for Networks Division. Collaborate with stakeholders to classify data based on sensitivity and implement appropriate security controls for different categories of information.
• Work with teams across different domains and manage stakeholders at VP and C-level. Provide regular updates to executive leadership on status of data lake initiatives, key achievements and potential challenges.
• Use Case Development: Drive analytics use cases adoption. Oversee stakeholders requirements and translate requirements into design and development.

Skills for Success

• BS degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years\' experience in platform planning and data management of data lake.
• In-depth knowledge of data lake technologies, cloud platforms and data management best practices.
• Experience in analytics tools and platforms
• Experience in design and implementation of security architecture for the data lake, considering confidentiality, integrity and availability of data.
• Knowledge of telecom architecture (broadband and mobile) and standards
• Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders, in particular at VP and C-level
• Experienced in managing technical teams
• Good interpersonal and negotiation skill, working independently is essential.
