Responsibilities Manage a team of service/maintenance technicians - maintenance, servicing and overhaul of rotating and static equipment. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors - maintenance, servicing and overhaul of rotating and static equipment. Conduct vibration analysis and laser shaft alignments.

Requirements Able to (1) read and understand equipment drawings and process and instrumentation diagrams, (2) conduct root cause analysis, and (3) solve technical issues relating to rotating and static equipment. Able to conduct vibration analysis, condition-based monitoring, and laser shaft alignment. Experienced in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of rotating equipment (in particular motors, pumps, fans, compressors, mixers, centrifuges, decanters, chillers, and shredders) and static equipment. Experienced in report writing and people/team management. Experienced in refinery, petrochemical and chemical plant environments and familiar with permit-to-work systems, as well as safety procedures and emergency response systems. Able to handle heavy equipment.

Certifications required Certified vibration analyst (ISO 18436-2) Category II (minimum). Laser shaft alignment certification. Supervise Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant (WSQ) certification. Supervise Work in Confined Space Operation (WSQ) certification.

Working hours Five day work week (8 am to 5 pm). However, as this role is required to support the continuous operation of high priority equipment and machinery, the successful candidate will be required to be on standby (typically two weeks a month), as well as work outside of the aforementioned working hours as and when the need arises. There will be no overtime or standby pay / allowance (in light of the fixed salary scale/structure).
