Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement PR Strategies: Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to raise awareness of our company, blockchain solutions, and industry initiatives. Collaborate with the marketing and executive teams to align PR efforts with overall business objectives. Identify target audiences and key media outlets to effectively communicate our messages.
• Media Relations and Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry thought leaders to secure media coverage and positive publicity. Craft compelling press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to disseminate key messages and announcements. Proactively pitch story ideas and facilitate media interviews for company executives and spokespersons.
• Crisis Management: Develop crisis management strategies and protocols to effectively handle and respond to potential PR crises. Monitor industry trends, news, and social media conversations to identify potential issues and mitigate reputational risks. Act as a spokesperson during crisis situations and provide timely and accurate information to the media and stakeholders.
• Content Creation and Thought Leadership: Create engaging and informative content, including articles, opinion pieces, and thought leadership materials, to position our company as a leader in the blockchain industry. Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to develop compelling narratives and provide insights on industry trends and developments. Leverage content opportunities to secure guest posts, speaking engagements, and media opportunities.
• Event Management and Industry Engagement: Plan, coordinate, and execute PR events, including press conferences, product launches, and industry conferences. Identify and leverage industry-specific speaking opportunities and awards to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership. Attend industry events and conferences to network with key stakeholders, media representatives, and potential partners.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor media coverage and PR performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to management. Utilize media monitoring tools and analytics platforms to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns and identify areas for improvement. Analyze trends and industry developments to proactively adjust PR strategies and messaging.

• Bachelor\'s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in public relations, preferably within the blockchain or cryptocurrency industry.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem.
• Proven track record of successfully executing PR campaigns and securing media coverage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Strong media relations skills and an established network of media contacts in the technology, finance, and blockchain sectors.
• Ability to think strategically and develop creative PR strategies that align with business objectives.
• Experience in crisis management and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and composure.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using media monitoring tools, analytics platforms, and PR software.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and their role in PR and brand management. Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations within the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry.
