At FIS we are looking for an experienced and motivated Solution Engineering Consultant (Pre-Sales) who can successfully design and deliver key messages about the FIS Compliance Suite via presentation and product demonstrations.
What you will be doing
Supporting Asia Pacific Middle East Africa sales
Use market expertise and knowledge of FIS offerings in order to clearly articulate the benefits and value proposition of the FIS solution suite to prospects in the region.
Perform sales presentations and deliver detailed demonstrations of the core solutions while being knowledgeable enough to speak about other peripheral modules (withing the FIS Compliance space) and adjacent solutions (within the FIS ecosystem).
Collaborate with salespeople in the region to align on strategy and priorities.
Providing business and technical expertise in the Pre-Sales process
Respond to RFI / RFP / queries in a timely and professional manner.
Identify and qualify prospects\xe2\x80\x99 business and functional requirements in order to obtain initial project estimates and identify solution gaps.
Report solution gaps to the product line and influence the solution release roadmap to be in line with the prospects\xe2\x80\x99 needs.
Build customer relationships by providing business and solution expertise. Maintain these relationships to build knowledge on customer needs and product fitness.
Work with pre-sales from other solutions to define a solution architecture combining the FIS modules to provide a value proposition tailored to the prospect\xe2\x80\x99s requirements.
Growing into an integral part to the global Pre-Sales organization
Help build and maintain global Pre-Sales processes, supporting documentation and collaterals.
Interface with the Product Management, Professional Services, Client experience (Support) and Development organizations.
Work with Marketing, Strategy and other FIS functions on researching new market verticals and opportunities.
Becoming a market expert
Provide coverage at relevant trade forums and other customer events.
Read trade and industry journals to keep abreast of industry thoughts, trends and drivers and regulatory initiatives.
Initiate or support sales campaigns targeting a specific territory or client base.
What you bring
Essential
At least 7 years of experience working in a relevant business area and at least 10-year working experience
Should have experience and understanding of financial markets compliance, in particular market and communications surveillance, in alignment with our core solutions:
Up-to-date on regulatory landscape, especially in key areas of Australia and Singapore/South East Asia
Understanding of the entire sales cycle, from market research through contract signing
Analytical and consultative approach to client engagements
Equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team
Ability to organise, prioritise, and multi-task
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language
Outstanding presentation abilities

Additional compliance areas, such as employee-related activities, in alignment with our core solutions:
At least 5 years of experience working within a software or service company as a Pre-Sales / Professional Services consultant
