This job involves in the ever-growing opportunity in the digital space. This is a specialised role that requires the candidate to have deep knowledge of Optical DWDM and Metro Ethernet networks. However, if you do not have such skills you must demonstrate to have good analytical skills, work attitude and exceptional ability to learn new technical skills. Your role is to provide PreSales activities in the Telco and Data Centre space in the Asia region.

Responsibilities:
  • Qualify, design, build and present Proof of Concepts (POCs) to showcase the benefits of the proposed solution based on customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements.
  • To provide quick yet thorough response to customers\xe2\x80\x99 Request for Proposal (RFP) and generate technical design and solution proposal that meet or exceed customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs.
  • Build cost models and guide the commercial teams on the most profitable approaches to building solutions, enabling commercial and finance teams to have a full understanding of the appropriate commercial models for solutions.
  • Present use cases, network characteristics, product features, dimensions based on customers\xe2\x80\x99 behaviour and needs.
  • Handover of pre-sales design to project delivery team.
  • Provide training and guidance on the systems designed.
  • Build productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities.
  • To use industry and product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales team and customers through presentations, product demonstrations and periodic updates.
  • Ability to deliver clear product presentations and demonstrations to all levels of a customer organisation.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Diploma in Engineering or IT, preferably in Networks or Telecommunications.
  • A minimum 5 years of experience in a client-facing complex solutions consulting role.
  • Highly motivated, analytical thinker, keen eye for details, results-oriented, with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products through documentation and internet resources.
  • Ability to lead customer meetings and conference calls.
  • Able to work flexi hours (even after office hours) when required.
  • Experience of running the network planning tools will be a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while at the same time maintaining a strong collaboration model with vendors, customers, sales and technical teams.
