About the role

Advise Sales teams on pricing and contract issues. Review deal prices. Develop price and deal structure options as required. Coordinate input from multiple organizations as required. Produce customer agreement documents.

Deal prices can involve several price structures including subscription, transactional, user-based, hybrid plans, software license fees, and professional service fees.

Responsibilities

  • Provide input to sales organization and market planning organization on price strategy, deal structure, discounting, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Review and approve deal prices. Coordinate input and approval from other organizations when required by policy.
  • Perform financial analysis as required to evaluate deal profitability and model projected financial impact of decisions.
  • Produce customer agreement documents for prices, terms, and deliverables. Write price-related contract terms for non-standard deals.
  • Ensure pricing, billing and contracting alignment utilizing the pricing and contracts tool (PCT).
  • Maintain price reference documentation.
  • Ensure consistent tracking of customer price data.
  • May perform pricing analysis for pricing initiatives using analysis of information from multiple sources and assist in the development of implementation plans.
  • Take initiative in identifying and resolving price process issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree required
  • Solid background working within Business, Marketing, or Finance
  • Experience working collaboratively with sales organizations
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Knowledge of pricing principles
  • Knowledge of the software/technology industry
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills including the ability to influence across the organization.
  • Advanced/Expert computer skills including Excel and Word
