Why This Position Matters As a Product Test Engineer at Silicon Labs, you will play a key role in our next generation MCU and Wireless products through test development, characterization, qualification, and manufacturing release. • Lead product and test improvement of high speed and mixed signal ICs from the production launch stage through product lifecycle.
• Optimize product yield and manufacturing cost while maintaining excellent product quality.
• Support investigations on Product process improvements and customer returns.
• Maintain hardware and software readiness for device characterization, reliability qualification, and production test.
• Perform characterization and reliability qualification of new suppliers and provide statistical analysis of results.
• Review test solutions on automated test equipment (ATE) for IoT products which include data converters, phase-locked loops, embedded microcontrollers and non-volatile memory, RF circuitry, sensors, LDOs, DC-DC converters, and other analog/mixed-signal circuitry.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Product and Test Engineering preferred
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required, M.S. in Electrical Engineering preferred
• Software development including C/C++, Visual Basic, PERL, Python
• Experience and proven record of working with yield improvement projects
• Experience with Teradyne J750 or similar ATE test systems
• Experience with test development of mixed signal or RF circuits
• Silicon Dash, Minitab or similar data analysis tools
• Proficiency of statistical analysis and process control
