Oversee all production and central kitchen related matters.
Develop and implement plans to achieve business goals and targets.
Ensure optimum utilization of resources and manpower to achieve targets.
Handle R & D recipes for new and existing clients.
Ensure quantity of finished goods meet production schedule.
Review work procedures and implement corrective measures and solutions.
Supervise, motivate, and review performance of all workers.
Enforce food hygiene and work safety practices at workplace.
Plan, organize and conduct weekly stock take and ensure all goods are accounted for and goods are issued on FIFO basis.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports, planning and achieve budgets and costings within the management’s framework.
Maintain manufacturing procedures and specifications.
Attend to production personnel and technical issues to ensure overall smooth production processes.
Attend to all quality issues e.g. customer complaints, process non-conformances, non- conforming products and provide solutions to resolve respective issues.
Work with sales team on production cost and samples for new sales.
Other ad hoc assignments.
Requirements:
At least 10 years of production and central kitchen experience.
Good culinary skills with recognized accolades.
Knowledge in Halal / SFA/ HACCP and ISO22000 standardization requirements.
Possess good computer skills.
Able to multitask, flexible, decisive, and work under pressure.
Able to manage and lead team of diverse cultural background.
Able to work in cool room environment at 10 to 12°C.
Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
Able to communicate in English, Mandarin, and Dialects.
