Our facility in Singapore has key functions in research and development, procurement, sales and finance for our Lighting and Detection business lines, in addition to key functions related to our Optics Manufacturing capabilities.

This site produces optical lenses such as spherical, aspherical and plano optics, with large machine shop capabilities and expertise in optical coating and assembly. Our photonic products and solutions serve a wide range of markets and applications in the areas of medicine, life science, industrial manufacturing, defense, and aerospace, as well as research and development.

We are presently seeking a Senior Production Manager that will oversee the Optics Production Operations.

Main responsibilities:

• Overseeing the workforce in the production department.
• Responsible for the development, performance, and maintenance of the production of the organization to produce efficient production and delivery solutions, maximizing performance & profitability against pre-agreed targets.
• Responsible for EHS compliances and safe work practices and leading the team towards zero recordable incident.
• Ensuring that the team understands that the organisation's profits are reflected in all its activities - including relationships and risk management.
• Striving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines.
• Setting ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel in the team.
• Timely communicating any problems or obstacles to senior management.
• Ensuring all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
• Working with OPS team to manage production workflow, schedule, and quality.
• Ensuring that final product(s) meets quality standards and customer specifications.
• Creating schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels.
• Maintaining all production related documentations for future reference purposes.
• Support to all other departments with production-related involvement.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing Management.
• Preferably with minimum of 5 years of experience in managing manufacturing environment.
• Possesses Optical, Precision Machining and Assembly knowledge
• Ability to work as a team, ethical, honest, transparent, with integrity and fair
• Ability to coach and motivate employees
