We are currently constructing and preparing operation of a major gas FPSO in North-Western Australia. BW Offshore is looking for a Senior Project HSSE Manager to join its Operational Integrity team in Singapore. This role will cover HSSE management oversight of recycling operations and provide support to Operational Integrity (OI) verification activities. Key tasks and responsiblities

• Ensures the suitability of the 3rd party consultants undertaking HSE studies (other than studies conducted under Tech Safety) for Projects;
• Ensures HAZID / ENVID sessions have been completed, with required actions closed out prior to the commencement of major construction, completion and commissioning activities (including sea trials), transportation and installation;
• Ensures that HAZID / ENVID reports are issued and all action close out is documented;
• Participates in project risk assessments where required, to ensure all relevant project risks are identified and that appropriate risk acceptance criteria has been met;
• Ensures that the project develops a Safety Case Plan where required by regulation followed by a Safety Case compliant with the BWO Standard;
• Ensures operations personnel are involved in all phases of Project Safety Case development and training;
• Ensures that ALARP demonstration(s) have been completed at appropriate stages of the project;
• Ensures that appropriate procedures are developed to identify and mitigate the effects of project activities on the environment, in accordance with the Project Environmental Aspects and Impacts Assessment Register;
• Ensures that the Procurement Manager / Contracts Manager have included the required HSSE requirements in the RFQ (Request for Quotation) and ITT (Invitation to Tender);
• Provides input to the Monthly Project Report and OI Department Monthly Report;
• Reports to the Senior HSSE Manager (Project OI Assurance) on status and actions to be taken to address identified gaps and deficiencies in Project HSSE deliverables, HSSE action close outs and assurance and verification requirements;

Qualifications

• Master Degree in Engineering or HSEQ related major, Bachelor Degree with significant relevant experience may be acceptable
• Ideally 15 years of relevant experience in the offshore Oil & Gas industry, or closely related industry
• Previous experience working in a similar role
• Previous experience working in a multinational environment is desirable

Knowledge

• Experience of project delivery in offshore oil & gas environment
• In depth knowledge of the relevant requirements of the classification societies and international rules and regulations
• Broad knowledge of Regulatory Compliance, HSSE, Environmental requirements with specialism in at least one area
• Fluent Oral and Written English
