Roles & Responsibilities

• To review all Authorities and Contractor's drawings before commencement of work

• Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary

• To ensure that contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work

• To conduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surrounding structures

• To coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants etc. for the works

• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters

• To supervise the installation of instrumentation, monitor the instrumentation results to assess if the works have been carried out safely and in accordance with the design

• Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions

• Managing and leading the project team

• Prepare the Master Programme for the work

• Tracking and monitoring the progress of the work

• Expedite progress within the constraints of available resources

• Ensure sufficiency of information for construction

• Plan and ensure efficient use of plants, machinery, material and manpower

• General management of the site that includes daily correspondences

• Managing co-ordination of the partners and working groups engaged in project work

• Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary

• Resolving cross-functional issues at project level

• Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary

• Managing project training within the defined budget

• Managing project evaluation and dissemination activities

• In-charge of safety at Project sites – conduct regular safety meetings with staff and contractors

• Degree/Masters in Civil and Structural Engineering

• At least 5 years’ of working experience in relevant industry

• Possess a valid RE cert 2022 by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore.

• Candidate to be able to work shift works due to the demands of the project

• Location of assigned project depends on awarded contracts by the Company, candidate must be able to travel to any assigned projects such as Tuas South and/or Gul/Benoi
