Job Description
Our client is the regional financial services organization with a growing presence in APAC. As part of the expansion plan, they will be hiring for a Senior Python Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop clean Python code to construct reusable components and packages.
- Collaborate with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop cloud-first solutions.
- Enhance the existing platform and products in response to business requirements.
- Collaborate with business users to jointly create maintainable Python code.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies.
- At least 5 years of Python development experience
- Proven work experience in AWS services such as Amazon DynamoDB, Lambda or AWS AppSync
- Strong experience in SQL and NOSQL platforms
- Prior experience in software development within investment management or financial services industries will be highly preferred
